It has been an unusually mild winter so far in Griddle Creek. It may not even snow before the end of the year. Business has been steady at the Sunnyside Diner due to the mild weather.

What to do: With no snow on the ground, everybody is looking for new experiences to try this winter.

Where to do it: The weather is tolerable, so visitors to town can safely explore the whole town in comfort.

Inside tip: The patio at the Sunnyside Diner is normally closed for the winter, but management has been known to make some exceptions.

Design Book Store

The stores of Griddle Creek are here to meet your needs. Many stores in town have extended their shopping hours for the holidays. Lots of shoppers plan to take advantage of the extra hours. Extended hours can be helpful for folks that do not have traditional work hours. You will have no concerns while spending your holidays in Griddle Creek. While most shoppers are tired out and heading home, there are some that are just getting started.

Design Robot Monkey Studio

Today’s stop on the tour brings us to the Robot Monkey Radio buildings. The most popular morning radio show in town is broadcast from these studios Monday through Friday 6am-10am.

What to do: Wake up early and start your day with the number one radio show in Griddle Creek.

Where to do it: You can listen to the shows from your radio, tablet, phone, pretty much everywhere. There is even a podcast available for listeners who like to sleep in.

Inside tip: Talk of getting the show televised is on hold until one of the hosts finally agrees to get hair and makeup done for tv, regular listeners know who it is.

Soup Du Jour!

Design Chicken Noodle Soup

The Sunnyside Diner prides itself in using the freshest ingredients to create its famous homemade soups. Sonny spends hours slicing, dicing, and simmering ingredients to get the taste just right. The new marquee sign is already bringing in new customers.

What to do: If you are in the neighborhood, stop by the Sunnyside Diner for a bowl of chicken soup.

Where to do it: The Sunnyside Diner, where the soup is never out of a can.

Inside tip: Try not to insult the chef, he might insult you back.

Get Lost!

Design Corn Maze

Are you in the mood to get out and do something but are not sure what? Well stop by Fluffy Farms and get lost in the amazing Corn Maze. Grab a friend and have some fun navigating the maze. The Fluffy Farms Corn Maze is a new tradition in Griddle Creek that is bound to be around for years to come.

What to do: If you are in town around this time of year, make your way out to Fluffy Farms.

Where to do it: For those brave souls in search of some spooky fun, the maze becomes the Haunted Corn Maze at night.

Inside tip: The Corn Maze is free to enter, but there is a fee if Fluffy must find and rescue you from the maze.

You never know what surprises are being cooked up at the Sunnyside Diner. Looks like Sonny was inspired today and feels his creation needs to be seen by the experts to certify it as “officially amazing”.

What to do: Act on your inspirations. When you feel inspired you should follow through because you never know what you may be capable of.

Insider tip: Christy will do her best to keep this from becoming a menu item.
