Design Playoffs

It’s playoff time and most of the town has basketball fever. In order to capitalize on the craze, the Sunnyside Diner has temporarily added several tv screens to attract customers who would otherwise be watching the games somewhere else. Whether you are a casual viewer or a hardcore fan, you will have no trouble finding a spot to experience the games. Good luck to all the teams playing.

The Book is Better!

Design Hobbit

The unusually warm temperature today made for a slow shift at the Sunnyside Diner as most residents are outside trying to enjoy the warm up. The warm up will be brief as the temperature is projected to dip back down tomorrow. The Sunnyside Diner staff keeps themselves busy during the slow times by reading books and straightening up around the Diner.

Inside tip: Days like this are perfect to try someplace new because there is usually no wait to be served.

Out of Luck!

Design St Patrick

Griddle Creek has one of the lowest crime rates of any vacation destination, however, travelers still need to make an effort to keep track of their belongings. In most missing items cases, it turns out the tourist simply left the item behind somewhere. Griddle Creek is very proud and protective of their good reputation. Most of the residents live by the golden rule.

Inside tip: If you happen to lose anything at the Sunnyside Diner, Christy will be glad to take your number and call you if it turns up in the lost and found.

Lost Time!

Design Spring foward

One of the first signs of spring is the clock moving an hour ahead for daylight saving time. This has been a harsh winter so any sign of spring coming is welcomed by most residents. For travelers new to Griddle Creek, the town does observe daylight saving time, please adjust your watches so you are on time for all of your scheduled activities. Do not rely on the clocks around town as some establishments, like the Sunnyside Diner, may be slow to adjust their clocks.

Inside tip: Make sure to adjust the time on all of your clocks and watches in the right direction.
