The winters in Griddle Creek are mild but the town does get the occasional snow storm. The extra snow is great for sledding but terrible for commuting. Some businesses do close or have reduced hours during the snow days. Not everybody in town is a fan of the snow.
Inside tip: Some of the town residents avoid coming out in the snow altogether, so our advice is to call ahead and confirm your planned destination is still open.

Frankie is okay! After watching Frankie D. Snowman sweat it out in the corner booth, the staff at the Sunnyside Diner has an idea. Don’t be afraid to let the Diner staff know you would like to change your table. They are always happy to accommodate customers whenever possible.
