Design Daylight Savings

Daylight savings time in Griddle Creek is here again. Time to set your clocks ahead an hour. Everybody loves when they gain an hour but not so much when they lose one.

What to do: Set all of your clocks ahead to the correct time as soon as possible. Don’t be the person that shows up late because they thought they had more time

Inside tip: Meals at the Diner may be a little late today, Sonny forgot to set his clock forward. They apologize for any inconvenience. On the plus side, the lunch menu will be available for an hour longer than usual.

Back at it!

Fluffy is back at it, once again he’s camped outside of the bookstore waiting for a new hardcopy release. Wyat remembers him from the last time he was camped out there. The whole process makes no sense to him whatsoever. What Wyat doesn’t understand is Fluffy actually enjoys camping out in front of the bookstore. It is more about the experience to him than the actual book. He gets to feel like a kid again and he loves to talk to all of the people that walk past. Being at the front of the line is just a bonus.

Spilled Milk!

Accidents happen to all of us. Don’t get discouraged or upset. If you spill your milk, mop it up and pour again.

What to do: Focus on the bright side of things. Pick yourself up and try again.

Where to do it: Wherever the spill occurs.

Inside tip: The Sunnyside Diner offers free refills on milk spilled inside the restaurant. No free refills on the milk you spill on the sidewalk.

Super Bowl Party!

The championship game is finally here. It’s the biggest football game of the year. The party guests appear to be interested in everything but the game.

What to do: Grab some snacks and find a large screen TV. If you’re attending a game day party, offer to bring a dish to share.

Where to do it: Preferably at a friend’s house so you don’t have a mess to clean up after everybody leaves.

Inside tip: Save your breath Peaches, Sonny has no intention of sharing that pizza. He didn’t cut it into slices on purpose.
