First day of Fall!

Design First Day of Fall

It is officially the first day of fall in Griddle Creek. While some welcome it, others are in denial and desperately trying to hold onto summer.

What to do: Say goodbye to summer and embrace the new season.

Where to do it: Out in the open air. This time of year, the nights get longer and the days shorter.

Inside tip: Unpack those sweaters and get ready for pumpkin everything!

National Coffee Day!

The town of Griddle Creek is celebrating National Coffee Day.

What to do: Stop into your favorite local coffee house and purchase a cup of your favorite hot or cold brew. For the do-it-yourself crowd, fire up that coffee pot at home and get your day started right. The number of coffee options is getting to be practically endless. Enjoy a cup of your favorite or take a chance and discover something new.

Where to do it: Any and everywhere. On your couch while watching the news. On the bus or train on the way to work. On your lunch break. In the breakroom. Take time today to enjoy some coffee.

Inside tip: In Griddle Creek the best spot for gourmet coffee is the Coffee House. The baristas are masters at creating delicious concoctions. For customers that like their coffee with no frills, the Sunnyside Diner has you covered. Sonny does not believe in flavored coffee.
